HB attended a weekly music group for young children. It was called Jelly Jam.
The children had the opportunity to try different musical instruments.
They explored different musical styles and listened to lots of different music.
They played musical games and sang songs.
They learnt how to tap out and write down rhythms.
HB learnt LOTS of music theory. At the start I felt a little uncomfortable about the use of flashcards as it was very different to our family learning style, but HB absolutely loved these sessions and learnt huge amounts. We were really sad when they ended.
