Today we learnt about the Mexican festival of the Day of the Dead. There was face painting, costumes, sugar skulls, paper marigolds, painting inspired by Papel Picardo and sugar skulls made from icing.
Skulls were also constructed from craft foam.
HB tried Mexican food and completed a jigsaw puzzle of a map of the world.
HB made a candle holder for the altar.
An altar was set up and then the children played a game involving hunting for coins.
