HB learnt French with Ms Constancia Fernandez, initially attending a group class at a hall.
Topics covered included feelings, food, and likes and dislikes.
One of HB's favourite topics was parts of the body.
Another favourite topic was animals.
As HB grew older some topics were repeated in more depth, for example clothing
and the rooms in a house.
In the summer of 2018 the class had too few people to cover the cost of the hall, so lessons moved out into the park.
Lots of fun was had playing French themed games in the sunshine.
In the autumn HB started having lessons with one other child.
They used games to revise many topics and vocabulary, including food and body parts.
One of HB's favourite games was using the letter cards to make as many high scoring words as possible.
