HB began by hearing a story from the Odyssey and making a boat for Odysseus.

Next HB heard the story of the Minotaur and was guided through the Labyrinth (eyes closed because it was dark).

After this came the sad story of Arachne. HB made a hama bead spider and some children made spider handprints.

Next HB was told about Medusa and challenged to approach her using a mirror.

Then it was time to make a potion that puts dragons to sleep to help Jason.

HB then helped Heracles with 3 of his tasks. There were golden apples to collect, the Erymanthian Boar to capture, and Cerberus to bring out of the underworld.

HB heard the story of Midas and used glittery playdough to turn things into gold. Finally HB fed babies to Cronus (or was it a cunning trick?).

There were more activities than HB could do in the session, so we decided to continue our Greek myth theme at home...
