Ħaġar Qim is one of the Megalithic Temples of Malta. It dates from about 3600-3200 BC. Before visiting the site we looked round the associated exhibition, which included information about the stones from which the temples were constructed, and the possible importance of solar events.
We then headed out to see the temple. It stands overlooking the sea, above Mnnajdra Temple.
