Star Carr Mesolithic Exhibition

July 2018, Year 1, age 6

Star Carr is a middle stoneage site in North Yorkshire dating to around 9,000 BC. It includes the oldest house discovered in the UK and 33 headdresses made from antlers and skulls. Unsurprisingly for a Mesolithic site, there was also a lot of fishing related finds. This was a temporary exhibition of some of the finds at the Cambridge Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.
