HB visited the Domvs Romana, the ruins of a first century BCE Roman dwelling in Malta (on the boundary between Mdina and Rabat). It was an aristocratic town house.
There was a mosaic in the peristyle (columned courtyard).
HB saw fragments of other mosaics too.
As well as obviously Roman arefacts, the museum contained objects influenced by Greek and Punic culture.
