Illness prevented us from meeting for our usual history session with friends, so we joined them on zoom to explore Ancient Carthage. We watched a computer simulation of the city, coloured maps to show the territory of Carthage and Rome at the beginning of the Punic War, and looked at pictures of Carthaginian artefacts.
We then made clay masks based on those found in Carthaginian tombs.
