Joust for Elizabeth I at Audley End

The day began with some sword fighting.

HB then looked at some Tudor weapons.

Quite a lot of Tudor weapons...

Urm HB, you remember we're pacifists, right?

Next HB explored some Tudor instruments.

We then listened to some lovely Tudor music.

Then Queen Elizabeth I arrived.

After an audience with Elizabeth I, HB discovered what food a Tudor sailor may have eaten.

Next it was time for a cannon firing game.

Then there was time for some Tudor games.

Next we watched a falconry display.

We then watched the actual joust.

Finally we were entertained by a stilt walking, fire eating jester.
