In the morning the children took part in a WW2 style lesson, as new evacuees. They were introduced to their new teacher and taught how to put on their gask masks.
Next they used pen and ink to write a postcard home to their parents. After this they were reminded who the King and Prime Minister were and taught the victory sign.
They learnt about the currency, and then had a lesson in plane identification.
In the afternoon they took part in an object handling workshop and then listened to a lady's memory of being a child during the war.
