The session began with a talk about space, Mars and rovers.
HB worked with a partner to build a programmable Mars rover from Lego.
We then watched a short video about some of the things scientists are interested in discovering or recording. The pairs discussed what they would like to research and added something to their rover that would facilitate this. They then wrote programs to move their robot around.
At the end of the session their robots were tested on the "surface of Mars" (a textured area).
