HB assembled a Mars Rover robot using the Thames & Kosmos Remote Control Machines Space Exploration STEM kit. The instructions were quite hard to follow at times, and some of the pieces required more strength than HB's fingers had, so Mummy and Daddy lent a hand.
Once the rover was built, lots of fun was had using the remote control to navigate it around the house, creating different rock stations to explore.
HB experimented, seeing what objects the rover arm could pick up.
