We arrived in New Orleans for Mardi Gras. HB threw thrinkets from the Home Ed Krewe float, made Mardi Gras masks, and Mardi Gras jesters from play dough.
HB built the Garden District streetcar line and iced mini King Cakes.
HB searched for the baby King amongst Mardi Gras coloured water beads.
HB took a trip to the Cyprus Swamp to feed the alligator's marshmallows.
Then it was time for some Gumbo sensory role play.
HB enjoyed a book about Mardi Gras, played some jazz (along to real New Orleans Jazz and parade music), and enjoyed inventing cocktails at the bar.
