We turned our tent into a pretend dig site. HB used plastic bones to make differently shaped dinosaurs.
We discussed how some bones could be identified easily, but some connections might not be so obvious. I explained how thoughts about the shapes of dinosaurs have changed over time and HB remembered the 'Victorian dinosaurs' we'd seen in the Crystal Palace Gardens.
It was then time for lunch. We continued the dinosaur theme by creating a dino themed food picture.
