HB noticed that during the Mesozoic era, land didn't just move apart, it also looked smaller. I explained this was due to rising sea levels. HB made some plasticine land at different heights, then changed the sea level to cut off the land. Finally the dinosaurs came to play on the land. Some of them escaped the predator on their islands.
