Avebury Stone Circle and Museums

Avebury is a Neolithic henge that contains the world's largest megalithic stone circle.

We walked round the circles and henge before visiting the associated museums.

In the Stables Gallery we viewed finds from the area.

We then headed over to the Barn Gallery, where HB learnt more about nearby monuments and the landscape that surrounds Avebury.

Before leaving HB dressed up, made a rubbing of a neolithic pattern, and designed a stone megalithic monument.
