We visisted Gough's cave, the location where the remains of the Mesolithic "Cheddar Man" was found. At the end of the cave tour we watched a video that explained how Cheddar Man has been reconstructed from his DNA and skull feastures. He probably had green or blue eyes, dark hair and dark skin.
Next we visited the Cheddar Gorge Museum of Prehistory.
We then went into 'Dreamhunters: The Adventure of Early Man at Cox's Cave'. This was an atmospheric light show that told the story of the early man.
