We visited Torquay Museum to see the finds taken from Kent's Cavern (and stone age Devon in general).
We saw the remains of ice age animals like mammoths and woolly rhinos.
We saw the remains of animals that lived during the interglacial periods.
We also saw evidence of human occupation in the form of tools and bones.
The shell may have been used as a lamp and the tooth might be a very early (for Britain) modern human.
