The event began with everyone changing into costumes and hearing gory stories about Tudor punishments for sailors who broke the rules. Our group then met the ship's surgeon, who told them grisly facts about Tudor medicine and "cures".
Next they had a drink with the First Mate in the Captain's Quarters. They then tried to raise the anchor.
Next it was time for some bread and stew below decks. After dinner they learnt how to fire a cannon on the gun deck and then hid as the Spanish tried to board our ship. Don't worry, we won.
Then it was time for a late night explore of the ship and bed.
