On Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning the children explored stoneage life. They began by looking at some artefacts and discussing stoneage technology.
Next there was some hunting and gathering. Being vegetarian, HB didn't take part in the fishing part but did gather elderflowers to make a drink. To gather from the top branches a little co-operation was needed.
The next morning we talked about the skills we'd need to hunt prey and played two stalking games.
Finally we dug up some clay, added water from the river and made our own pots.
